Established successful boutique law firm in the Houston area seeks a Probate and/or Guardianship Litigation Attorney with 3+ yrs. experience; High energy team, great culture, and support in a fast-moving office.Responsibilities:
- Supervise paralegals and other staff working on your cases.
- Meet with, advise and counsel clients and represent clients in Court.
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates.
- Manage calendar of deadlines and ensure all filings are completed prior to deadlines with the Court.
- Draft and finalize legal documents.
- Ability to travel to our satellite offices as needed.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
- And the big one is to strong desire to win in Court. We are looking for a winning trial attorney.
Qualifications:
- Licensed member of the Texas State Bar.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience practicing in probate, estate administration, and guardianship.
- Familiarity case law, legal research and preparing legal documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Trial experence is a must, jury trial is a plus.
