About the Job:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Planning and Probate Attorney with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on matters related to estate planning, trust administration, probate, guardianship and conservatorship, and related areas of law. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and collaborate with a talented team of legal professionals

Qualifications:

Law degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the Michigan State Bar
Prior experience in estate planning and probate estate and trust administration is a plus
Knowledge of drafting estate plans from start to finish (preferably using Wealth Counsel, but not required),
Experience in Guardianships and Conservatorships
Experience in long-term care planning laws and regulations
Experience in nursing home Medicaid, not required, but helpful
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
