We are seeking an Attorney to independently manage probate and conservatorship cases from start to finish. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication with clients and court personnel, and the ability to handle all aspects of estate administration and related filings efficiently. - Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
- Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
- Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
- Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
- Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
- Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
Compensation:
$74,000 - $82,000 yearly
