Essential Job Functions:
- Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases
- Conduct client calls and case evaluations to determine legal strategy.
- Investigate claims by reviewing police reports, medical records, witness statements, and other evidence.
- File management in our case management software
- Understanding UM coverage
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance.
- Collaborate with your legal assistant to manage case workflow.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards, ethics rules, and firm policies.
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Valid license to practice law in Louisiana.
- Member of the state bar in good standing.
- Working knowledge of laws, regulations, financial compliance, and best practices in the field.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including consensus building.
- Customer or client service experience.
- Excellent persuasive writing skills.
- Credible and discreet, with a high level of integrity and the ability to work with highly confidential and privileged information.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strategic thinker who can prioritize and integrate short-term and long-term goals.
- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple and competing deadlines.
