Responsibilities:Job Summary:
- Serves as a legal advisor and business partner providing legal advice and assistance on matters related to a health law practice area.
- Provides legal guidance and counsel on topics including:
- Physician recruitment arrangements
- Physician employment arrangements
- Professional services agreements
- Medico-administrative and call coverage arrangements
- Working with internal and external partners on Fair Market Value analyses, including utilization of internal tools
- Supporting operations of a large medical group with locations in 16 states
- Supporting hospital operations regarding physician engagement
- General contracting
- Requires working in a mission focused, dynamic and collaborative team environment with other healthcare attorneys and direct engagement with business and clinical operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic legal advice, support and counsel through the organization's legal function in support of strategic and operational priorities.
- Supports, promotes and implements legal initiatives.
- Advances the implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Keeps current with legal developments affecting the health law practice area and incorporates such information into advice, counsel and support for the organization.
Requirements:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Attorney obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
Juris Doctorate degree required.
Work Experience:
5 years of experience as licensed, practicing attorney required.
