Position Overview:
As a Law Clerk at our growing personal injury law firm, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team in various legal tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, who are awaiting bar exam results to gain hands-on experience in the legal field and develop valuable skills.

This role offers an enriching opportunity to gain practical experience in the legal profession, work alongside seasoned attorneys, and contribute to the pursuit of justice for our clients. This full-time role is located at our Beverly Hills office and requires physical presence on-site.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in various tasks specific to personal injury cases, such as gathering relevant information and ensuring seamless progression of cases through the process
  • Review and analyze case files to identify legal issues, assess strengths and weaknesses, and develop case strategies
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates, settlement offers, and other relevant matters
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law
  • Review work product, including demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Implement quality assurance measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pre-litigation processes
  • May provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to legal staff involved in pre-litigation matters
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • A successful completion of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required
  • Candidates must have taken the bar exam, with results pending, and await admission to the bar
  • Prior experience in a legal setting is highly beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, processes, and procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Capable of efficiently managing high work volumes in a fast-paced setting and adapting to changes
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, always responding calmly and courteously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a variety of situations
  • Excellent follow-through to meet multiple deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and work assignments, with a willingness to take on additional duties as required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
