Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., the largest minority- and woman-owned law firm in the nation, has an immediate opening for a Post-Bar Law Clerk in our Orlando office. This role will support our Workers' Compensation litigation team and offers recent J.D. graduates an immersive experience in defense litigation.We are seeking someone eager to grow into a full-time associate role. No prior experience in Workers' Compensation law is necessary—we will provide the training and mentorship needed to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal correspondence under attorney supervision
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis
- Prepare case summaries and chronologies of medical or employment records
- Assist with trial and deposition preparation
- Attend and observe hearings, mediations, and depositions
- Maintain case files and perform general case management support
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree with recent or pending Florida Bar exam results
- Strong interest in litigation and advocacy
- Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
