The Opportunity:We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff Trial Attorney to try complex medical malpractice, general liability, and products liability matters. This is an opportunity to work on high-value, high-stakes litigation at a firm with the resources and reputation to fully support aggressive trial practice.
What You'll Do:
- Try high-value, high-stakes cases to verdict
- Take depositions of target defendants, including physicians, corporate representatives, and fact witnesses
- Retain and prepare expert witnesses
- Develop case theory and damages models designed to maximize recovery
- Collaborate with senior management to develop case strategy and build case value
- Mentor associates as part of the trial team
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrated track record of seven-figure verdicts
- First-chair plaintiff jury trial experience
- Deep knowledge of New York CPLR, medical malpractice, products liability, and commercial vehicle and construction safety regulations
- Strong ability to develop relationships with qualified expert witnesses
- Exceptional oral advocacy and courtroom presence
