Plaintiff Medical Malpractice Attorney (Hybrid)

Hoffer & Sheremet, PLC is a boutique plaintiff's malpractice law firm in Grand Rapids, MI. We are professional, engaging, collaborative and our goal is to provide high quality, personalized legal representation to our clients.

We are seeking to establish a relationship with an attorney with a minimum of 3 years experience to work on cases and assignments as needed. Potential for full time employment with the right fit after a "get to know you" period.

This role is ideal for experienced litigators who want to continue doing high-quality work while maintaining meaningful flexibility in their schedules and work-life balance.

Onsite office available or work remote. Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Legal research
• Attend depositions
• Draft motions and attend hearings
• Draft demand letters
• Draft pleadings

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years previous litigation experience is required. Medical malpractice litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Appellate experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan
• Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Teams, Planner, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, along with experience in handling malpractice cases, is preferred, but not required.
