Position Overview:
A Michigan Personal Injury Attorney is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plaintiff Attorney with 5–10 years of experience in PIP litigation to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing plaintiffs in personal injury protection claims, with a proven track record of managing a high-volume caseload, negotiating settlements, and litigating cases through trial when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in PIP-related litigation, from case inception through resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
  • Evaluate case value and develop litigation strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and insurance companies.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with firm standards.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the State of Michigan, in good standing.
  • 5–10 years of experience handling PIP plaintiff cases.
  • Strong knowledge of state-specific PIP laws and procedures.
  • Excellent litigation, negotiation, and trial skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to client advocacy and achieving favorable outcomes.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with legal case management software.
  • 2 + years of experience in auto law preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and billing practices.
