Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Litigation Case Management: Handle cases from intake through settlement, including case strategy, documentation, and compliance
  • Case Progression: Complete Flip-to-Lit and TD approvals when appropriate, manage release approvals, and guide clients through the case lifecycle
  • Document Preparation: Draft and prepare pre-litigation documents such as demands and settlement packages
  • Settlement Negotiations: Manage demand package creation and negotiate settlements with carriers
  • Team Leadership: Supervise 6–10 Case Managers, ensure KPI compliance, and maintain quality control standards
  • Client Interaction: Conduct recorded statements, prepare clients for Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and prepare clients for and attend 50-h hearings
  • Practice Focus: Primarily personal injury cases, especially motor vehicle accidents

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar
  • 3+ years of personal injury / motor vehicle accident experience preferred
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
  • Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Leadership ability and self-starter mindset
  • Excellent writing and advocacy skills
