Job Description:Responsibilities:
- Pre-Litigation Case Management: Handle cases from intake through settlement, including case strategy, documentation, and compliance
- Case Progression: Complete Flip-to-Lit and TD approvals when appropriate, manage release approvals, and guide clients through the case lifecycle
- Document Preparation: Draft and prepare pre-litigation documents such as demands and settlement packages
- Settlement Negotiations: Manage demand package creation and negotiate settlements with carriers
- Team Leadership: Supervise 6–10 Case Managers, ensure KPI compliance, and maintain quality control standards
- Client Interaction: Conduct recorded statements, prepare clients for Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and prepare clients for and attend 50-h hearings
- Practice Focus: Primarily personal injury cases, especially motor vehicle accidents
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar
- 3+ years of personal injury / motor vehicle accident experience preferred
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
- Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills
- Leadership ability and self-starter mindset
- Excellent writing and advocacy skills
