The firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in the state of Kentucky to join its growing practice. This role focuses primarily on motor vehicle accident litigation, with opportunities to work on additional personal injury matters including premises liability and dog bite cases.

This position offers the opportunity to manage a meaningful caseload, advocate for injured clients, and contribute to a collaborative litigation team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and litigate motor vehicle accident cases from filing through resolution.
  • Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, and demand packages.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda and briefs.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Work with expert witnesses, including coordinating conferences and assisting with expert reports and affidavits.
  • Guide clients through each stage of the litigation process and maintain strong client communication.
  • Collaborate with support staff and leadership to ensure cases progress efficiently.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including training programs and seminars.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney.
  • 5 years of litigation experience.
  • At least 2 years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Active Kentucky Bar license and good standing required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume litigation caseload (50+ cases).
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong client communication and client service skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Self-starter with strong professional drive and long-term career goals.
