Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation with experience completing written discovery, motions practice, and defending/taking depositions. Trial experience is a plus, but not required. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in personal injury matters throughout the entirety of the case, from initial client meeting through resolution.

Duties:

Develop and maintain rapport with clients.
Provide legal advice throughout the course of representation.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and court memoranda.
Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all case activities and developments.
Collaborate with staff and other attorneys and staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive client service.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Connecticut.
2+ years experience in personal injury
Proficiency in legal drafting and research methodologies.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
