Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will champion the rights of clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence or misconduct, providing expert legal counsel and vigorous representation. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex personal injury claims, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve. Duties:
- Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, including car accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and other injury cases
- Responsible for handling personal injury claims from pre-litigation through litigation
- Responsible for drafting all legal documents, including lawsuits, discovery, motions, briefs, affidavits, and settlement agreements
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to maximize client benefits
- Responsible for preparing for and attending all necessary depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Responsible for analyzing conflicts, legal issues, and factual issues and ensure that they are addressed effectively and efficiently
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and current licensure to practice law in the state of Georgia*
- Proven experience handling personal injury law cases from inception through resolution
- Strong knowledge of legal principles related to personal injury law, including negligence, liability, damages, and insurance law
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and driven
- Must demonstrate willingness to learn from partners and senior attorneys to meet client needs
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and function in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
- Graduates waiting for Georgia bar results will also be considered
Compensation:
This is a commission-only position, offering significant earning potential based on performance and case outcomes.
