Job Summary:Newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply! We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing personal injury practice. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage your own personal injury caseload, work closely with senior attorneys, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of injured clients. Duties:
- Analyze and apply relevant laws and statutes to evaluate potential recovery in each case.
- Provide legal counsel to clients, clearly explaining legal processes, options, and likely outcomes.
- Cultivate strong attorney–client relationships built on trust, empathy, and consistent, transparent communication.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents—including discovery, motions, and briefs—accurately and on time.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Negotiate with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties to obtain favorable settlements for clients.
- Serve as first-chair trial counsel, preparing for and handling all aspects of trial.
- Work closely with paralegals and support staff to promote efficient case management and progress.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing
- Proven experience or demonstrated strong interest in personal injury law
- Exceptional legal research abilities
- Strong legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive documents
- Proven capability to manage complex matters requiring negotiation, strategy, and problem-solving
- Experience with legal administrative tasks, including managing case files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and collaborative teamwork
