Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. A Personal Injury Attorney is looking for an EXPERIENCED Personal Injury Attorney in the MetroAtlanta area with outstanding delegation and leadership skills in directing and mentoring a savvy, experienced paralegal. This pivotal role involves minorly overseeing a paralegal, managing the litigation portion of cases, and primarily focusing on representing clients involved in not-at-fault car accidents if a settlement cannot be negotiated. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Handle the litigation portion of a comprehensive caseload of personal injury claims, focusing on car accidents in Atlanta, GA. This entails only the litigation phase if a settlement is not negotiated.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a paralegal, ensuring efficient case handling, document preparation, and client communication in the case the paralegal needs help.
- Client Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and representation tailored to their specific needs if their case goes to litigation.
- Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies to secure the best possible outcomes for our clients when the case cannot be handled by the paralegal.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in personal injury law, with a strong preference for candidates with specific experience in car accident cases.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and a current license to practice law in the state of Georgia, as well as be in goodstanding with the state bar of Georgia.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and trial advocacy skills. Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to mentoring team members.
- Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive client relationships and collaborate effectively with a team.
