Description:
As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced attorney to join our team, and help lead complex cases. This position is ideal for a seasoned litigation attorney who wants schedule flexibility, courtroom responsibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients and the firm.Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from intake to case resolution
- Speak with pre-suit clients to get demand and settlement authority
- Draft and send demand letters; negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
- Communicate with clients to respond to discovery
- Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, and trials
- Attend occasional court hearings, depositions, and mediations (with or without senior counsel)
- Represent clients in Magistrate Court proceedings when necessary
- Sit in client final disbursements to explain release language and distribution summary
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Georgia
- Some experience in personal injury litigation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia tort law, medical terminology, and personal injury litigation procedure
- Great communication, negotiation, and client-interaction skills
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Manages a calendar and client emails well
- Professional, team-oriented, and client-focused mindset

Working Environment:
- 40 hours, five days per week
- In office required on Mondays and Fridays
- Option to work from home two days per week (select from Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)
- Private window office at 90 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville
