Position Overview:We are seeking a reliable and professional Per Diem Attorney to appear on behalf of our firm in landlord-tenant matters throughout Southern and Central New Jersey. This position is ideal for an attorney looking for flexible, part-time work with consistent court appearances.
Responsibilities:
- Attend landlord-tenant court hearings and case management conferences.
- Handle eviction trials and motions as assigned.
- Communicate case outcomes and recommendations to the firm promptly.
- Review case files prior to court appearances.
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent representation to clients.
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey law license and good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
- Prior courtroom experience preferred.
- Landlord-tenant experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to courts throughout throughout New Jersey.
Compensation:
- Competitive per diem rates based on experience.
- Mileage reimbursement may be available for certain assignments.
