Position Overview:
We're in search of a full-time attorney who is passionate about representing clients and capable of getting the job done, particularly before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Thoroughly reviewing the administrative record to ensure our clients receive the best representation.
- Conducting accurate legal research.
- Drafting compelling legal memoranda and briefs.
- Engaging in informal hearings with a strong sense of advocacy.
- Delivering persuasive oral arguments.
- Preparing detailed client reports and maintaining open communication to discuss case progress.
What We're Looking For:
- An attorney who's in good standing and admitted to practice law in any state.
- Eligibility to be barred at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and accreditation with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Exceptional legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
- A strong academic background.
- We are looking for someone with 2+ years of experience in Veteran Law, but we're open to training a candidate with potential.
