Position Description:The Brandeis School of Law invites applications for a Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) co-teaching position in our Resilience Justice Practicum, for the Spring 2026 (January-May) semester. Review of applications will begin upon receipt and continue until the position is filled. This is a community-engaged course with a growing number of projects with community partners (community-based groups, nonprofits, and government agencies). Interested candidates should include in their application a resume or curriculum vitae and a cover letter or expression of interest in this field. Required qualifications for this position:
- License to practice law in at least one jurisdiction in the United States (license valid & active).
- Experience representing or collaborating with marginalized or vulnerable populations.
- No conflicts of interest with any of the Resilience Justice Project's community partners.
A J.D. degree and expertise demonstrated in the field are required. Prior teaching experience, particularly as an adjunct professor at a law school; as well as prior experience working with the University of Louisville Resilience Justice Project, are preferred, although not required.
