Overview:The Dallas office of Kaufman Dolowich, recognized by U.S. news in their list of “Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms”, is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our Labor and Employment practice.
KD's Labor and Employment practice includes employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage and hour defense, as well as traditional employment law matters.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage all phases of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and handle oral arguments in state and federal courts.
- Lead cases from inception through resolution, ensuring effective case development, risk assessment, and client communication throughout.

Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA approved Law School.
- Admittance in Texas.
- 8 years of employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour and employment contract cases.
- Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes.
- Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial.
- Outstanding research, writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.
