Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $250,000.00 annually + bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Full-time/Remote Opportunities Available)
Who we are looking for:
- Plaintiff-side litigation experience; we are open to a range of experience levels, from attorneys with a few years of civil litigation background to seasoned elder abuse litigators ready to first-chair
- Familiarity with skilled nursing facility regulations (Title 22, federal OBRA requirements) is a plus
- Strong writing, deposition, and case management skills
- Comfortable working remotely with a tech-forward firm (we run on Filevine and a modern litigation stack)
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Lead and manage all phases of nursing home abuse and neglect litigation, including case investigation, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather case information, provide updates, and offer legal counsel
- Develop case strategies by analyzing evidence, medical records, and expert reports related to elder care cases
- Collaborate with experts in healthcare, forensic investigation, and other fields to strengthen case outcomes
