About the Position:
The firm is seeking an attorney with at least 1-4 years of land use and environmental experience to join its office in Roseville, California.

The ideal candidate has outstanding academic credentials, exceptional writing and research skills, ability to handle complex matters, and is committed to delivering excellent quality work in a collaborative environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate interpersonal skills, problem solving, and possess a strong work ethic. Experience with mining law, Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA), real estate transactional work, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), CEQA litigation, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the California Endangered Species Act (CESA), the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA), and state and federal regulatory environmental agencies is a plus. The candidate must be a member of the California Bar.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)
  • Active member of the California State Bar
  • Natural Resources / Land Use experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA), Mining law
  • Experience with Real Estate Transactional work
  • Experience with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), CEQA litigation
  • Experience with the California Endangered Species Act (CESA)
  • Experience with state and federal regulatory environmental agencies
