Description:

Firm seeks an associate attorney with experience advising public agency clients on general public agency law matters including the Ralph M. Brown Act, the California Public Records Act, the Political Reform Act, public agency bidding and procurement laws, Proposition 218 (taxes, assessments and fees etc.), and election law matters. Candidate must be admitted by the California Bar, have excellent legal research and writing skills, and have experience drafting, reviewing and editing ordinances, resolutions and various types of contracts. Candidate should have 2-5 years of focused experience in the public agency law field and possess strong communication skills. Candidates are encouraged to include a writing sample with resume. Salary is competitive and will be offered commensurate with experience within a range of $100,000 to $130,000.
