Position Overview: Associate Attorney
As a Mid-to-Senior level Associate Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in handling complex legal matters, including case evaluation, strategy development, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Experience within corporate defense is highly valued, with a background in construction defect and personal injury defense considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and before government agencies
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents
- Provide legal counsel to clients on transactions and business matters
- Negotiate settlements to resolve legal disputes effectively
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience practicing law. Personal injury or construction defect defense is a plus
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and familiarity with legal procedure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Reliable with exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Active California State Bar membership in good standing
- Ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary starting at $130k-$200k; commensurate with experience
- Performance-based quarterly bonuses
