Description:
An established law firm is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney with substantial experience handling complex family law matters. This role is designed for a seasoned practitioner capable of independently managing cases and providing strategic guidance in high-conflict and financially complex matters.Responsibilities:
- Manage family law cases from intake through resolution, including litigation and settlement
- Handle matters involving divorce, custody, visitation, child and spousal support, property division, and post-judgment modifications
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
- Develop case strategy and advise clients on legal options, risks, and outcomes
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in contested proceedings
- Mentor and support junior attorneys and legal staff as needed
- Maintain compliance with court rules, deadlines, and ethical obligations
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar
- Minimum of 7–10+ years of family law experience
- Demonstrated litigation and courtroom experience
- Strong knowledge of family law statutes, procedures, and evidentiary rules
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload
- Experience with high-asset or high-conflict cases preferred
- Criminal defense or civil litigation experience is a plus.
Pay: $200,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
