The San Diego office of Fisher Phillips seeks an employment litigation associate with four to seven years of experience, including substantial prevailing wage experience. The ideal candidate will have experience advising companies and handling California public works and federal (Davis-Bacon) prevailing wage matters, including defending enforcement actions and individual claims before the DIR and DLSE, as well as in state and federal courts. Candidates should be comfortable advising clients, drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions.

Qualified candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will be self-starters who can work independently and collaboratively. Admission to the California Bar and a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school are required.

The yearly salary range for this position is $230,000 – $270,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
