The rapidly growing New Jersey office of Fisher Phillips is seeking a Mid-Level Wage & Hour Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The firm's wage and hour practice group, led from our New Jersey office, is looking for someone with experience in the field who is motivated to join a busy team.The ideal candidate will have experience handling sophisticated litigation, with at least some knowledge of wage and hour issues. Qualified candidates need to demonstrate experience and proficiency drafting and ideally arguing motions, dealing with class and/or collective wage/hour work, and experience preparing witnesses for taking and/or defending depositions. Successful candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects, commitment to and empathy for their fellow team members, and a relentless commitment to growth and client service.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of litigation experience
- Must have at least some level of experience with wage & hour work
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- A commitment to personal growth and high-quality client service
- Admission to the New Jersey and New York Bars are required
