A Multinational Law Firm Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois seeks an associate attorney with 4–5 years' experience in US trade law, with a focus on CFIUS/foreign investment review (FIR), US export controls, sanctions advisory and investigations. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on national security-related regulatory matters, including cross-border transactional reviews and enforcement investigations. Candidates should be comfortable managing workstreams, supporting client relationships, and collaborating with cross-practice teams across multiple jurisdictions.

The position is in the Firm's Washington, DC office. Candidates must be proactive, comfortable working independently, have strong academic credentials, excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and writing skills, and a demonstrated ability and willingness to collaborate across teams and cultures. Major law firm experience is strongly preferred. Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the District of Columbia Bar or be eligible to waive in.
