An International Law Firm is seeking outstanding junior and mid-level associates (i.e., class of 2023-2019) to join its Global Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Practice and AI Practice. Candidates should have two to six years of relevant experience, which includes handling data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity matters. The ideal candidates will have experience assisting clients with: (i) AI, cybersecurity, and privacy incident preparedness and response; (ii) conducting regulatory defense investigations relating to AI, data privacy and cybersecurity issues; (iii) building legally defensible AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity programs in the US (including for NIST, CCPA, BIPA, HIPAA, WMHMDA, and other US state and federal privacy laws); (iv) conducting AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity due diligence and M&A support; and/or (v) drafting AI, privacy, and cybersecurity policies and negotiating data processing and related agreements. High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience preferred. A strong interest in the fields of AI, data privacy and cybersecurity is desired. Work experience in the federal government or law enforcement on AI, cybersecurity, or data privacy issues, including non-legal experience, is welcome and encouraged. The starting base salary for this Washington, D.C. position is expected to be between, $260,000 to $390,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
