Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the New York, NY office for a Mid-Level Corporate Associate to join our dynamic national team and handle a broad range of corporate, commercial, and transactional matters. This position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated transactions for domestic and international companies, private equity funds, corporate strategic investors and entrepreneurs, as well as skills development and marketing development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have completed at least three to six years of experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm, will have interest in supporting senior attorneys, and desire and aptitude to work closely with founders and CEOs, while developing a practice.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed in the State of New York.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions and capital markets/corporate finance, corporate governance, private equity and venture capital financings, complex M&A and securities law compliance, corporate formations, and corporate governance matters.
- Guided companies through successful financing rounds, and complex corporate M&A and commercial transactions.
- Independently manages significant portions of transactions, including demonstrated ability to manage deal teams of other associates and subject matter experts.
