Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton seeks to hire a highly motivated and experienced associate to join our Shareholder Engagement and Activism Defense practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in shareholder engagement and activism issues and corporate governance, along with experience in securities law and mergers & acquisitions. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team involving our market leading Corporate Governance and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. Candidates will be considered for the New York or San Francisco office and should be admitted to either the New York or California bar.

Associate Salary: The base salary for associate positions is $225,000 to $435,000, depending upon class year.
