We're seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Criminal Defense Attorney to join our dynamic and growing law firm. In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload of misdemeanor and felony matters, appear regularly in court, and provide strategic, client-focused advocacy. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in all stages of criminal proceedings, including arraignments, pre-trial hearings, motions, and trials
• Develop and execute effective defense strategies tailored to each client's unique situation
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft motions, memoranda, and other key legal documents
• Negotiate skillfully with prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Provide proactive and compassionate client communication throughout the legal process
• Maintain detailed, organized case files and documentation
• Supervise and mentor paralegals and support staff
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to ensure top-tier representation across all cases

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
• Minimum of 3–5 years of criminal defense experience preferred
• Strong courtroom presence and confident advocacy skills
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software
