O'Melveny's Houston office is looking for an outstanding Mergers & Acquisitions Counsel with five to eight years of experience The ideal candidate will have a strong corporate transactional background, with a primary focus on middle-market M&A, including private equity and strategic transactions for both public and private clients. Experience with leveraged buyouts, competitive sale processes, and joint ventures across a broad range of industries, including energy, is preferred.Our Houston office offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in a growing office. Candidates should be excited to work closely with colleagues across practices and offices, contribute to the continued growth of the Houston team, and take on significant responsibility in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.
Strong academic credentials, exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidates must be comfortable with deal teams, value teamwork and collaboration, but also be able to handle individual responsibilities.
