  • Draft and review legal documents including petitions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and court motions
  • Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, case law, and procedural rules relevant to family law matters
  • Prepare cases for litigation through discovery, depositions, and evidence gathering
  • Negotiate settlements that align with clients' best interests while maintaining professionalism and integrity
  • Manage case files efficiently using legal case management software such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
  • Stay current on changes in family law statutes and regulations to provide accurate advice and representation

Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of family law procedures, statutes, and regulations
  • Proven experience with estate planning, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, personal injury cases, contract drafting, general & commercial litigation, employment law cases, legal motion preparation, statutory legal research, legal administrative experience and more
  • Strong negotiation skills to facilitate favorable settlements for clients
  • Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting clear and precise legal documents
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Effective research skills to support case strategies and procedural compliance
  • Experience with legal case management systems to track case progress and deadlines
