What You'll Do:
  • Lead and manage complex antitrust litigation and regulatory matters, developing strategies that drive favorable outcomes for the organization.
  • Specialized expertise in antitrust law, including review of corporate activity under the Hart Scott Rodino Act, advice and counseling on anticompetitive conduct and pricing
  • Provide expert legal guidance on antitrust law, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and related transactions, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
  • Build trusted partnerships with senior executives, offering authoritative advice to guide policy, projects, and change initiatives.
  • Design and deliver clear communications for internal stakeholders and external parties, setting standards for legal documentation and overseeing quality assurance processes.
  • Anticipate complex challenges and develop innovative legal solutions where precedents may not exist.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, support key business objectives, and stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Supervisor and mentor junior attorneys, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure legal strategies align with long-term business goals.
  • Help the organization navigate high-impact legal challenges and deliver results that support continued growth and success.

What You'll Bring – Required
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 15+ years of legal experience, with a strong background in antitrust law and complex litigation.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring legal teams and delivering results in high-stakes environments.
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.

  • Experience practicing inside a corporate legal department, government agency, or law firm related to antitrust and complex litigation.
  • Familiarity with the oil, gas, or energy industry, including regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Relevant certifications in antitrust, litigation, or energy law.
  • Ability to develop long-term legal strategies aligned with business goals.
  • A track record of building strong relationships with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to offer practical, actionable advice to senior leadership.
  • Agility and a growth mindset to handle matters adjacent to primary practice areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide expert legal services and strategic guidance in highly complex legal fields.

Compensation Range:
This position has a base salary range of $295,200– $360,800.
