We are seeking a dynamic US Attorney with 3-5 years in-house or law firm PQE and sales expertise, to lead the US office of A Legal & Strategy Service for Tech Visionaries. The ideal person will have the unique opportunity of co-forming the US part of our business taking on a partnership role in A Legal & Strategy Service for Tech Visionaries Legal LLP.

After establishing A Legal & Strategy Service for Tech Visionaries in 2018 as the legal partner for ambitious technology companies, we have supported 200+ companies in their success globally. With increasing demands, we are now expanding our US presence; this pivotal role will directly contribute to the global success of our current legal offerings for entrepreneurs and startups in the US.

Your unique combination of legal proficiency and sales skills will be instrumental in ensuring our US office not only provides top-tier legal services but also grows our client base and maintains strong, strategic relationships in the US market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nurturing and developing meaningful partnerships with local startup ecosystem partners such as VCs, accelerators, or communities.
  • Managing and growing our sales pipeline process, from lead generation through to closing. You'll be a key driver of creating opportunities and passing them to our US team.
  • Attending technology and startup events primarily in California, but with the flexibility to attend events in other US locations.
  • Providing comprehensive legal advice focusing on corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters in addition to business advisory. You will collaborate with our existing US attorneys in projects including early stage investment rounds (pre-Seed to Series B).
  • Leading our existing team of US qualified attorneys. You will serve as a mentor for our junior colleagues, enhancing their legal professional growth and development.

Ideal experience/skills:
  • 3+ years of work experience with US (NY, DE, or CA) corporate / contract law and startup legal matters. Experience in leading a VC round and corporate financing instruments is beneficial. Client intake, case management, and business operations experience.
  • Hands-on experience in the Startup/Technology Law ecosystem is essential. We are looking for someone who possesses a growth mindset and an eagerness to embrace and adapt to new technologies.
  • Previous experience in sales orientated responsibilities, including securing new business opportunities and fostering emerging and existing partnerships.
  • Proven leadership experience, and confidence in fostering an empowering environment where individuals are encouraged to take responsibility.
  • You should be a qualified attorney in at least one of the following jurisdictions: NY, DE, or CA.
