Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the law firm, ensuring effective workflow, utilization of technology (e.g., Lawmatics, Clio Manage, WealthCounsel, etc.), and process improvement across all client matters.​
  • Strategically plan and implement business initiatives, set objectives for firm growth, and monitor key performance indicators for efficiency, client satisfaction, and profitability.​
  • Supervise and mentor attorneys, paralegals, and support staff; assist with professional development, conduct performance evaluations, provide guidance on legal strategy, and maintain high standards of work ethic and collaboration.​
  • Support in talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and HR functions, including hiring, staff reviews, promotions, and compensation recommendations.​
  • Support in developing and enforcing firm policies and procedures regarding compliance, risk management, client confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.​
  • Support or lead in process optimization projects, including the integration and effective setup of legal technology platforms (CRM, project management, document automation, etc.) to maximize efficiency and support scalable growth.​
  • Serve as a key representative for client relations and public relations, fostering internal and external relationships, addressing client needs, and resolving conflicts.​
  • Support in overseeing budgeting, financial planning, resource allocation, and efforts to improve cost containment without sacrificing service quality.​
  • Support diversity, inclusivity, and team-building efforts to create a collaborative and supportive work environment.​
  • Ensure ongoing legal education, keep the team apprised of relevant changes in law, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licenses to practice law in Arizona, or are willing to get licenses in Arizona.
  • Significant legal experience, ideally 5+ years including attorney supervision, litigation or transactional practice, and leadership roles in law firm management.​
  • Demonstrated management and mentorship skills, with prior experience in overseeing legal teams or professional staff preferred.​
  • Expertise in legal operations, workflow optimization, and capitalizing on technology to drive efficiency, especially with software relevant to the firm.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR protocols, performance management systems, and effective recruitment strategies.​
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and regulatory obligations in the legal sector.​
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex issues and foster trust with team members and clients.​
  • Adept analytical and strategic thinking abilities; capable of solving problems and making decisions that align with firm objectives and growth.​

Compensation:
$130,000 - $175,000 yearly
