Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the legal team, setting strategic priorities and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee a broad spectrum of legal practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law.
  • Provide expert legal advice on complex cases, ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as LexisNexis and Westlaw research standards.
  • Develop and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda with exceptional legal drafting skills.
  • Coordinate negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, government agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Manage case strategy from inception through resolution by conducting thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Ensure all legal activities adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies while maintaining meticulous records of all case files and documentation.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar membership in good standing.
  • Extensive experience practicing in multiple legal domains such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, or patent law.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of attorneys and support staff effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Demonstrated experience in legal drafting and administrative management within a busy law office environment.
