Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive legal support across a diverse range of practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law and regulations, litigation, patent law, landlord-tenant law, and more. Your expertise will help ensure our firm delivers exceptional legal services to clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and memoranda with precision and clarity.
  • Assist attorneys in managing litigation cases from inception through resolution by organizing case files and preparing discovery materials.
  • Provide expert advice on estate planning strategies, environmental compliance issues, immigration procedures, and family law matters.
  • Negotiate settlements and legal terms on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professional integrity.
  • Maintain detailed records of case activities, correspondence, and legal research to ensure compliance with firm policies.
  • Support the firm's administrative functions by managing client communications and scheduling meetings effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in practicing estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law or related fields.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with Law Office software is a plus.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial resolutions for clients.
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis efficiently.
  • Prior experience in a legal administrative role or internship is advantageous but not mandatory.
