Reporting to the Director for M&A and Corporate Transactions within An American Management & Information Technology Consulting Firm Legal, Ethics and Compliance team, you will be responsible for advising on complex M&A and other strategic transactions, with a primary focus on integration and secondary responsibilities for supporting due diligence and execution. You'll collaborate with senior leaders, Corporate Development, and other teams across An American Management & Information Technology Consulting Firm, including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, People Services, Contracts, and Information Security, to design and implement smart, sophisticated, and efficient M&A integration plans informed by due diligence. You'll educate and advise internal stakeholders at all levels with respect to legal issues and risk management in relation to M&A and integration. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
  • 6+ years of experience practicing law in a top-tier law firm or corporate environment and advising on sophisticated M&A design and implementation of integration plans
  • Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams and business leaders to develop comprehensive, business-oriented solutions to achieve objectives
  • Experience leading and managing projects to build consensus on complex M&A and business issues
  • Ability to provide practical advice to legal and business colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • J.D. degree
  • Active bar admission with any U.S. state bar

Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience as in-house counsel in a corporate environment, preferably a public or large private company
  • Experience advising on M&A, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions involving government contractors
  • Experience with government contracts law, including FAR, DFARS, federal procurement statutes, and regulations
  • Experience leading teams in multiple geographies and in remote settings
