We are seeking a motivated, intellectually curious Litigation/Family Law Associate with 1+ years of litigation experience to join our Atlanta office. We encourage applications from individuals with a passion for litigation,

What you will do:
As a litigation/family law associate at Harrison LLP, you will:
  • Assist senior attorneys on a variety of complex family law matters.
  • Be actively involved in all stages of litigation, including:
  • Drafting and responding to discovery (particularly financial discovery).
  • Work on complex custody cases.
  • Preparing and filing motions and pleadings.
  • Preparing for and attending mediations, court hearings, and trials.
  • Help analyze and manage complex financial issues such as income tracing and asset division.
  • Learn the procedural landscape of the Fulton County family law division as well as the metro Atlanta counties.
  • Work as part of a cohesive team where collaboration and open communication are key.

What you will need:
  • Reside within a commutable distance to Harrison LLP's Atlanta office; candidates planning to relocate to Atlanta are welcome to apply.
  • Ability to work in the Firm's Atlanta office five days a week.
  • Active Georgia Bar license and be an attorney in good standing.
  • 1+ years of litigation experience.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and handle the details.
  • Comfortable with courtroom appearances, discovery procedures, and direct client interaction.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently when needed.

What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Family law experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in family law and litigation through prior experience, clinics, or internships.
  • Solid academic performance from reputable law school.
  • High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
  • Experience handling complex financial issues or high net worth clients.
  • Federal Bar admission.

Target Salary Range: $175,000 – $250,000 annually. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors including but not limited to experience and training, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This role will also be eligible for an annual discretionary variable incentive bonus.
