Description:
An American Law Firm is seeking an associate to join its Litigation Group. The candidate would work with our regional and national clients in connection with government and internal corporate investigations and white collar defense matters involving civil, criminal, and administrative laws such as the False Claims Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute.Qualifications include:
- 1-5 years of experience in complex litigation
- Strong interest in the healthcare industry, including healthcare fraud matters
- Trial experience is a plus
- Clerkship experience is strongly preferred
- A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
- Must be admitted to practice in Georgia or waive admission to the Georgia Bar
- Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes
- Exceptional project management skills
- Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills; law review or other comparable experience indicating significant research and writing skills a plus
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
- The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment and exercise good judgment in client service
