About the Job:Minnesota Attorneys is seeking an Associate Attorney, with a minimum 2 years court room experience, familiar with commercial documents, knowledge in business and corporate transactions. This is a full-time position available at a well-respected, well-known, Twin Cities law firm that has been in existence for over 70 years. Applicants also need to have strong verbal and written communication skills. The firm is seeking a smart, confident, well-rounded individual who is motivated, creative, common sense-oriented candidate with great critical and analytical skills. Must be duly licensed in the State of Minnesota. Must be a people person and a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Legal Research
- Manage day-to-day Real Estate and Business matters
- Brief writing
- Take and defend depositions
- Argue Motions. Requirements - ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Business/Commercial matters
- Excellent academic credentials and references
- Great attention to detail
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience
- Licensed in the State of Minnesota
- Critical thinking/analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
