What you will do:
Manage litigation cases: Handle personal injury and motor vehicle accident cases from litigation through settlement, trial, or other resolution.

Develop case strategy: Evaluate liability, damages, case value, and litigation strategy tailored to each client.

Handle litigation: Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents; take and defend depositions and attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Prepare for trial: Prepare witnesses and exhibits, work with experts, and participate in trial proceedings as appropriate.

Advocate for clients: Communicate regularly with clients, guide them through the litigation process, and negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.

Work with the team: Work closely with legal assistants, paralegals, attorneys, and experts to move cases forward efficiently.

What you bring to the table:
  • Active Wisconsin State Bar membership in good standing.
  • 2+ years of litigation experience preferred; personal injury or plaintiff litigation experience is a plus.
  • Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality and client care.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
