Position Overview:
A Renowned Trial Attorney is establishing a premier internal “university” for litigation excellence and seeks highly skilled attorneys with the heart of an educator to serve as Litigation Educators (Attorney Trainers). These individuals will serve as the frontline teachers within the firm, working directly with attorneys to provide hands-on education, coaching, and professional development.
Reporting to the Director of Professional Development, Litigation Educators will collaborate closely with the Director of Mentorship and Attorney Managers to ensure attorneys receive world-class training in policies, procedures, and litigation strategy. They will also help keep the firm's training materials and resources cutting-edge, ensuring that TJH attorneys remain among the best-prepared litigators in the nation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on training sessions for attorneys across all experience levels, from new hires to seasoned litigators.
- Teach firm policies, procedures, and any updates or changes to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Provide practical instruction on trial skills, deposition practice, motion writing, mediation strategy, and
- courtroom presentation.
- Collaborate with the Director of Mentorship to align attorney development with structured
- mentorship opportunities.
- Work with Attorney Managers to ensure training supports trial readiness and client service objectives.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of TJH's internal “university” resources, including manuals, playbooks, and digital tools.
- Incorporate innovative teaching techniques and cutting-edge resources into attorney education.
- Provide feedback to the Director of Professional Development regarding training needs, attorney progress, and curriculum updates.
- Foster a supportive, professional environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active Texas Bar license required.
- 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury.
- Demonstrated trial and deposition experience.
- Strong communication and teaching skills; prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience strongly preferred.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments (mentorship, management, training leadership).
