Job Summary:
At Skywheel Law APC, a "one-stop shop" boutique firm dedicated to resolving our clients' complex legal issues so they can move on to a worry-free life, we are seeking a talented, meticulous Litigation Drafting Attorney to serve as a cornerstone of our civil litigation practice. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our lead trial attorneys to architect case strategies and translate high-level legal theory into winning filings. You will also mentor and direct our law clerks, ensuring our research and discovery stay elite.

Key Responsibilities:
Law & Motion
Draft complex pleadings, demurrers, motions to strike, and heavy dispositive motions (MSJs/oppositions) in strict compliance with the CCP, CRC, and Local Court Rules.

Discovery & Enforcement
Formulate tailored discovery packages (Interrogatories, RAs, RFPs), manage meet-and-confers, and draft powerful Motions to Compel along with Separate Statements.

Trial Prep
Partner with trial counsel to analyze evidence, draft comprehensive deposition outlines, and prepare trial briefs, motions in limine, and pre-trial joint statements.

Team Collaboration
Direct and supervise law clerks in legal research, document production, and discovery management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Licensure: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
Experience: 3+ years of civil litigation experience with a strong emphasis on advanced legal writing and discovery enforcement.
Substantive Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the California Civil Discovery Act and local court procedures.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Excellent mentorship abilities to guide law clerks, combined with sharp collaborative instincts.
