We Handle Cases Ranging from Police Excessive Force, Including Officer-Involved Shootings, to Jail Assaults and In-Custody Wrongful Death and Medical Deliberate Indifference Cases.

Immediate Opening for An Associate Attorney Experienced in State And, Federal Court Litigation. the Ideal Candidate Will Have at Least Three (3) Years of Litigation Experience, Excellent Speaking, Writing, Analytical, and Research Skills, and An Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision. Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Draft, Research, and Prepare Motions, Including Ex-Parte Motions and Motions and Oppositions to Summary Judgment Motions.
- Argue Motions Before State and Federal Courts. (based on Experience and Candidate Readiness)
- Opportunity to Work and Argue in Appellate Court (based on Experience and Candidate Readiness)
- Take and Defend Depositions Depending on Experience (based on Experience and Candidate Readiness)
- Manage Case Specific Federal Deadlines
The Candidate Will Be Further Responsible for Discovery Files, Including Reviewing Police and Investigative Reports as Well as Jail Medical Records. the Candidate Will Also Be Responsible for Drafting Both Federal and State Complaints, Drafting and Responding to Discovery Requests, Formulating Discovery Strategies, Researching Case Law, Case-Related Calendaring, Preparing Legal Memoranda, Law and Motion, and Trial Preparation.
The Candidate Must Be Able to Write and Conduct Law and Motion Research on Various Constitutional Issues and Be Highly Proficient at Performing These Tasks.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have Excellent Analytical and Writing Skills. the Candidate Must Also Have Great Interpersonal and Communication Skills when Contacting Clients to Follow up And Communicate Updates or Case Status.
Prior Law Associate And/or Law Clerk Experience Is Required. Minimum of 3 Years of Law and Motion Experience and Litigation Experience; Federal Litigation Experience Is a Plus.
