Description:

Day Pitney's Complex Commercial Litigation group is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 3 years of consumer finance litigation experience to join our team in our Boston office. This is a non-partnership track position.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience with commercial foreclosure matters, hands-on experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, and familiarity with the state and federal consumer protection laws and courts in Massachusetts. Consumer finance and creditors' rights experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for candidates with strong writing and drafting skills who are excited about litigating and taking on more responsibility.

The practice includes defense of claims arising under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), as well as a variety of state and common law claims.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented and sophisticated work environment with industry experts.

Day Pitney recognizes the value of flexible working arrangements alongside the benefits of in-office collaboration. To support both, the firm offers a hybrid work environment that allows attorneys to work remotely two days per week.
