Description:

About Global Legal Law Firm
Global Legal is a rapidly growing boutique litigation firm that represents clients nationwide in high‑stakes commercial disputes in the electronic payments and FinTech space. We have offices in California, Florida, and Vermont.

Attorneys with a bar license from any state are welcome to apply. We practice all over the country and would love boots on the ground in many metro areas.

We combine big‑firm caliber work with a tight‑knit, collaborative team, and our attorneys regularly litigate against major players in state and federal courts across the country. If you want meaningful responsibility, direct client contact, and sophisticated cases—not document‑review purgatory—this is the place to build your practice.

What You'll Do:
  • Take ownership of a litigation docket from intake through resolution and trial, with support from experienced partners.
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery in state and federal courts.
  • Develop case strategy, evaluate risk, and collaborate closely with partners, associates, and paralegals.
  • Communicate directly with clients, courts, experts, and local counsel; provide clear, practical status updates.
  • Handle and defend depositions; assist with and participate in mediations, hearings, and trials.

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of civil litigation experience (commercial litigation strongly preferred).
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Bar
  • Solid command of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and State Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters at once.
  • Willingness to work in person in our Vermont office and contribute positively to a team‑oriented culture.
  • Experience in payments/FinTech, banking, or complex contract disputes is a plus but not required; we will train the right litigator in our niche.
